Working as an extension of the Leadership Team, I am providing strategic counsel on a wide range of opportunities and activities to transform the company’s approach to comms and marketing. My work began with a review of the brand and communications channels, which led to a number of recommendations. Given the company’s goals and the need for greater visibility in a competitive market, a programme of work was agreed, including a rebrand.
We started by refreshing the company’s messaging to bring its independence and specialist expertise to the fore. I reset the agency brief with a sharper focus on the rebrand and commissioned a new website, overseeing both design and development. Alongside this, I supported the recruitment of a new Marketing Executive. This included shaping the job spec, designing the interview process, and helping with onboarding and objective-setting. Internally, I ran a series of collaborative workshops with staff to co-create a fresh set of company values that would reflect the evolving brand.
Ongoing work includes mentoring the Marketing Executive, managing the creative and digital agency, and leading the implementation of the new brand. I’m also working closely with the Business Development team to strengthen outreach to referrers, while guiding the transformation of the company’s digital channels and strengthening the approach to monitoring and measurement. A broader comms and marketing strategy is in development to underpin the company’s growth ambitions.
